Obama Turns BB Netenyahu Into his Latest Speed Bump

I am seeing all over the news and the blogosphere that as of, I believe, yesterday, Obama has done what no other president has done before, and has turned our strongest Middle Eastern ally into his latest speed bump on the road to reelection. I am not surprised by this, and really, no one should be surprised. If you are chances are you haven't been paying attention to what this man has done to the nation in the last three years. After snubbing Great Britain by A: Sending back the bust of Churchill, B: having the audacity to give Queen Elizabeth an iPod filled with nothing but his own speeches, and C: Giving Tony Blaire a series of DVDs that don't play on British DVD players, not to mention the more important and audacious things this man has done to our allies, it should be readily apparent to anyone with the brain cells God gave a chimp that Barack Obama has no love for Israel. For crying out loud, people, he snubbed BB more than once before this, though the only time that comes to the front of my memory is the time he left Benjamin in a White House sitting room while he went off to eat dinner with his family. Now Obama is calling for Netenyahu to "make concessions for peace", which, if you speak fluent bullshit, as I do, means that BB should just shut up and give in to the absolutely ludicrous concessions for peace that Obama is advocating in favor of the Palestinians.

In case you haven't heard, those concessions consist of returning Israel to the borders it had back in 1967. In other words, the country would go back to looking like this:

The green is Israel as it stood prior to the year in question. Note the location of the Holy City, Jerusalem. Notice how it's half in and half out of the green and the yellow. It would return to this state should Obama's demands be met. except this time, instead of Jordanian rule, that half of the city would be under Palestinian rule and as such would be subject to much more displays of sectarian violence than it is now. (8 murders in the last year in a country of several hundred thousand people, FYI). Also, take a look at the territory being ceded under this proposal. Up near Samaria, the left most part of the yellow chunk includes the Golan Heights. This is one of Israel's two currently defensible borders. With this proposal, that border would go to the Palestinians, as well as all those nifty caves and cliffs to hide in and mount missile defenses on.

The worst part? At that point, not only would the border be indefensible, it would leave Israel with its widest point being a whopping EIGHT MILES across! That's right, boys and girls. If this plan were to go through, it would leave Israel with little more land than most small cities have to build on. Oh, and the Gaza Strip? The other defensible border? That would go to the Palestinians too.

I was once introduced through one of my favorite novels to the story of a king who was surrounded by enemies, yet too blind to see it. his heraldry consisted of a stag. The enemy's? A lion. A stag surrounded by lions. Fairly predictable ending, wouldn't you agree? Yet the stag had friends  in the form of a wolf, who came to his aid, yet too little too late. We, the United States, are the wolf in this story. Israel the stag, and the Palestinians the lions. As Israel is in the heart of the lion's den, so to speak, we must stand firm in solidarity with Israel. If we do not, the lions will only turn our way next, assuming they haven't already.

Ever hear of a woman named Ann Barnhardt? I have, and you're about to. All you have to do is scroll down to watch the video at the end of my little rant here. But first, a bit of background information on the happenings that led to this video being made. We are all, I'm sure, familiar with Senator Lindsay "Grahamnesty" Graham, RINO-SC. He's the insipid little fool that said recently that he wished we could "hold people accountable" for certain types of speech. That it just so happened to deal with speech against the greatest threat to democracy since Hitler, Stalin and their goons were on the scene is just a coincidence I'm sure. NOT! For Graham's exact words, watch this little gem of a video I pulled from Youtube:



Yeah, you heard that correctly. He said that burning the Koran is speech that "inspires" the enemy. In actuality, what burning the Koran does to these people is DEMORALIZE them by making them so incredibly enraged at our infidel practices, that they cannot fight the war effectively! Inspirational speech is more like this.

Now, in comparison to Ronaldus Maximus, Linsday Graham is less than the shadow of a snake, no doubt. Especially where his wartime policies are concerned. Restricting speech so that our enemies won't be offended? Reagan would have laughed this guy out of the Senate if he'd heard such a ludicrous proposal as that!

But apparently others think this is a good idea. Of course, there are always those who think that less freedom for the people will lead to more security. Those people are woefully misinformed, and need to look at what big government has done to such countries as Germany and Soviet Russia before they go and advocate getting rid of the constitution.

Now, take the woman I mentioned above, Ann Barnhardt. This woman has more balls in her little finger than Graham has in his whole body, and the videos at the bottom prove it. She even gives her address and contact information, daring people to call her bluff and come after her if they're serious about not wanting to offend Islam. Oh did I mention that in the second part of the video she burns a Koran, which she has conveniently bookmarked with raw pieces of bacon? Absolutely incredible that someone would do something so shockingly un-PC these days. I know the libs are in hysterics over the pastor who originally proposed the Koran burning a while back, but if they saw THIS, they'd go absolutely nuts!

The best part is that each passage she has conveniently bookmarked is a passage that advocates either prostitution, rape of prepubescant boys and girls, or even beating your wife if she refuses to have sex with you. She even points out a passage in the very book the Islamists revere so much that calls Allah a "deceiver". Now, why on Earth would Muslims refer to their own god as a deceiver unless they believed it? And who else do we know of as a deceiver? Someone who whispers temptations into our ears and persuades us to only think of ourselves at the expense of our neighber? Oh, right *church lady voice*....could it be....SATAN? Well now isn't that special?

Hook, Line, and Sinker

This is how easily the world seems to be buying the situation in Egypt as a real chance at democratic reform. I've already posted previously about how I believe, as well as many of my fellow bloggers, that this is a replay of Jimmy Carter's disastrous handling of the '79 Islamic Revolution, wherein the Shah of Iran, a tyrant and despot supported by the U.S., was overthrown and replaced by the Ayatollah and his mouthpiece, Ahmidenijad. Add to this our support of the corrupt Afghanistan president Hamid Karzai and, coupled with our support of Mubarak, a man who has tortured family members and willingly tortured innocent people for the crime of running against him for president, or has ordered the internet shut down throughout the region to prevent the spread of information. To be fair, that first was in part due to U.S. urgings. Nevertheless, that doesn't excuse our part in propping this guy up for thirty years. I've always seen the American flag as a symbol of freedom. I still do. I always will, because I know that at its heart, it always will be. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case with most Middle Eastern countries (in fact I think Israel is the only country in the Middle East that has a favorable opinion of us, or had one, anyway.)


The Middle East has been a powder keg for decades. Centuries, even, if you go back far enough and connect the dots. the pro-Western Shah was deposed by radical Islam, Iraq was under the control of radical Islam until George W. Bush sent in the big guns, and still could potentially crumble if things go bad. This, though, these riots breaking out first in Tunisia, then in Egypt, as well as in Jordan, Yemen, and who knows where else? This has the potential to change the balance of power not just in Europe or the Middle East, but in Russia and China as well. Already, the Russian Federation and the People's Republic are the two most powerful players in that area of the world. Now we have the Muslim Brotherhood fomenting rebellion and unrest in Egypt. Whether they're behind the other rebellions or not remains to be seen in my eyes, but if they are, they could very well be well on their way to accomplishing their goal of restoring a unified Muslim Caliphate, which would leave the Middle East under a form of government not seen since the Middle Ages.

Let's be realistic here. The people of Egypt do in fact have a chance at real democracy being implemented, but not as easily as the pundits in America seem to believe it is. We in this country seem to take freedom for granted. Like John Adams before us, we seem to believe that democracy is the rule because to us, it's the obvious thing to do. This is not the case in the Middle East. Before the invasion of Iraq in 2003, there was only one democracy that even came close to being a government of, by and for the people: Israel. Now Iraq is taking its first fledgling steps into that area of the political spectrum and it's proving to be a bumpy ride. Until that began, however, the idea of democratic government was, and still is, seen as downright blasphemous. Government by the people? It's laughable to them in large part because they still hold to the theory of the Divine Right of Kings. To them, the people don't choose the leaders, Allah does. And the leaders do not serve the people, the people serve the leaders. This is, obviously, a completely backwards idea in the eyes of many in the West.

If the situation in Egypt is to have any chance at improving in a way that serves the best interest of the United States and her allies, most notably Israel, then we have no choice in the matter. We must support the people of Egypt and let them know that we will stand with them against any tyrant, Muslim Brotherhood, Mubarak, or otherwise, We must, as John F. Kennedy declared in his inaugural address to the nation in 1961, "support any friend" and "oppose any foe to ensure the survival and the success of liberty." This seems to be somewhat lost on our president, however, who it has been pointed out, cannot even seem to utter the word "democracy" even as he throws out such buzzwords as "reform" and "freedom". Don't get me wrong, he should be mentioning those things as well, but it will all be for nothing if he doesn't use that all important D word while he still has a chance to do so.

Still, as I realized after watching a video at The Other McCain, I came to realize that this is just another attempt by the Obama administration to vote "present" and play both sides in the hopes of coming out somewhere in the middle. This will not bode well for our Dear Leader, as that is exactly the kind of stance that Jimmy Carter took when dealing with the Shah! History repeats itself boys and girls, and never exactly the same way. These events playing out now could have a significantly WORSE outcome than the Islamic Revolution did if my above analysis is correct.

Let's hope it's not, however. The last thing we need is a unified radical Islamic Caliphate consolidating power in the Middle East. If and when that does occur, it'll bring us one step closer to World War III.

It's a Muslim Thing, You Wouldn't Understand It.

At least, that's what this so-called "moderate" Muslim from Seattle Washington told an admittedly unprepared Southern woman (Not using those exact words, of course, but that's how it came across.) In the video, this moonbat from Seattle decides that America needs to "get over" 9/11. While I agree that we do have to move on with our lives and not dwell in the past, that does not mean that we should just sweep 9/11 under the rug, as this dimwitted fool things should happen.



I especially liked the parts where he exaggerated his facts (3,000,000 deaths in Vietnam? Where did he get that number?) or outright LIED (Christians killed Jews in Germany and America did nothing to rescue them) or when he played the victim card and told the woman that she should understand discrimination better because she's a woman and has thus been discriminated against. Ummm...yeah, women were discriminated against. So was EVERYONE at some point or another. Everywhere I turn I see Christians getting discriminated against by the ACLU when they launch a lawsuit against a faith based group for gathering on public property. Don't tell me that Christians like myself haven't been given the short end of the stick. I believe there were times when my brothers in Christ were fed to the lions for daring to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the savior of the world. Not only that, but they're STILL being killed by the truckloads in Muslim countries. Also, I want to know how this guy went to a synagogue in Tehran when I'm-a-Dinner-Jacket refuses to let them BUILD synagogues in that COUNTRY, much less that city. I think the humdinger moment, though, was the very last word that the man spoke when the argument was going against him. Right at the last second of the video he throws out the race card. Yep. RACIST [fade to black]. that's exactly how it worked. Watch for yourself and leave your own opinions if you like.

Nine Years Later, it Still Hurts

I was going to post these thoughts on 9/11, but I'd rather get them out now while they're fresh in my mind.

Like a festering sore, the rubble and debris that once made up the tallest buildings in the world still sits and rots, even nine years after the terrorist attack that brought the buildings down. One wonders how the families feel, seeing that monstrous black mark day in and day out, especially with Imam Rauf and the Left wrapping themselves up in freedom of religion so that the ones who committed the attacks can build what will essentially be a monument to that attack, when what should go there is a memorial to the three thousand people we lost that day. It burns my biscuits to know that despite all their talk of "sensitivity" people who are for this mosque aren't considering the families of those that were killed that day.

Have we already forgotten? We as a nation promised "we will never forget" on that horrible, horrible day 9 years ago. Yet it seems that far too many already have forgotten that pledge, regarding it as so many empty words. There are those on the right, I'm sure, who have done this, but I don't know of any thus far. All I hear about his how anyone who opposes this mosque at Ground Zero is a racist Islamophobe. Well, then I'm proud to BE an Islamophobe if thinking a certain way that happens to disagree with those in power is what makes me one. I only wish more moderate Muslims had the courage to stand with the families and publicly decry the terrible acts that were done that day. Yet that won't happen any time soon, I'm sure, because the ones who are in charge, though they be little more than glorified murderers and bullies, hold all the cards. Those in power keep that power through use of force, and fear is a powerful motivator against those who have not yet overcome it.

Yet those in power on THIS side of the ocean seem to be succumbing to that fear as well. Just as Britain gave in to fear in the 1930s under Neville Chamberlain, our own president now seems to be mirroring his appeasement strategy by trying to talk his way out of a situation that can't be talked out of, with people who not only refuse to talk, but refuse to listen as well. Cries of racism, though they now be no more powerful than Shakespeare's "paper bullets of the brain", abound if anyone dares speak the truth about the so-called "moderate" who travels to Islamic countries on our dime to spread the word of Mohammad. Cries of "Freedom of Religion" abound now as well, as the left uses the very constitution they have ignored for years to justify pouring salt in this still sensitive wound. And now the narrative includes a completely new word, "Islamophobia" to describe those that oppose this mosque as irrationally fearful of Muslims. It's not irrational to be afraid of a people whose sole purpose on the planet is to spread the teachings of Muslim across the world.

I have no problem with God in the public square. I'm a Catholic, for crying out loud. Why would I have a problem with people openly declaring their faith if I seek the same right and privilege to do so myself? I don't, is the answer to that question. If someone wants to build a mosque, who am I to judge them?

Now, that said, if someone wants to build a mosque solely for the purpose of disrespecting the lives of innocent people, I have a huge problem. We wouldn't advocate such an act if Christians perpetrated such, would we? I didn't think so.

I, thankfully, did not lose anyone close to me on that fateful day nine years ago, yet it still feels as though I have. Much the way Kennedy felt that "Ich bin ein Berliner" back in the days of the Berlin Wall, I felt that I was every bit as much a part of the Big Apple as anyone else was that day. I know what it's like to lose someone you love, though admittedly not to murder or violence. It is a pain that never goes away, and this pain will never go away for anyone who truly feels for the families that were devastated that day.

That said, I'm going to now stop expressing my views on the mosque, as I believe I have made them quite clear here in this post. I had intended for this to be a tribute post, but apparently my thoughts ran away with me. Perhaps I can think of something with less invective on the actual day.

The Mosque, the Elections, and the Rising Tide of Backlash

I think I'm going to do something I don't normally do on this blog: tell everyone how I'm doing. It's been a little over three weeks, I believe, since I posted last. Reason being is because I've been trying to get other things straightened out in real life, leaving me with little time to rant and rave about Washington, Obama, the Left-Stream Media, and other such topics that make my blood boil. As such, the energy just hasn't been there.

I've heard all about every hot topic lately, from the Ground Zero Mosque, to the shit hole of an economy we're in, to the president claiming he supported the surge when he in fact did not. The good news is that I can definitely see some "green shoots" as Ben Bernanke called them, in my own life if not in the nation as a whole. My bank account has stayed in the positive for the first time in over three years, and I'm ecstatic that I'm finally going to be making money instead of spending money I don't have to cover bills, thanks to cost cutting, spending restraint, and once my fiance gets her old job back, additional income. In short, everything the left thinks won't work to save our floundering economic status in the world. Let's hope the trend continues.

And now for the weigh-ins on various topics, some of which are coming late:

1. The Mosque: As someone who has nothing but absolute contempt for the people who dared murder three thousand innocent Americans in the name of the so-called "Religion of Peace", there really is nothing for me to say on this matter other than DON'T BUILD IT! I went into this relentlessly with my aunt and a few of her fellow lefties, and was rebuffed by having my arguments dismissed as nothing more than lies and "talk radio fear mongering". Granted, it wasn't my aunt that said those things, but she does have a habit of immediately assuming that my opinions are not informed or thought out, which burns my biscuits just a bit.

2. The Elections: It's going to be a Republican landslide and the left knows it. Watching Bill, Beck, and Hannity on FOX News last night, I saw several analysis', that when taken together tell me one thing: Abandon all hope, ye who run for re-election on the Democratic or Republican Incumbent side. John McCain, so far, is the only Republican incumbent I know of who has survived his primary/re-election. Not entirely sure if he'll win his seat again, but winning the primary was a huge hurdle that he once again cleared. As for November in general, we'll see a Republican majority in one if not both houses, simply because the numbers, momentum, and public opinion are all on the Right this time around, just as they were in 1994 when Clinton governed this far to the left, and on much of the same ideas and principals. Difference? Clinton knew who signed his check and complied with the voters, if only to secure his re-election.

3. The Rising Tide of Backlash: I touched on this above, but it's not just democrats that are in trouble here. Republican establishment figures like Lindsay Graham, Olympia Snowe, and others had better watch out. This wave is crashing, and once it swallows the dem majority, if you don't learn to swim, you'll drown along with them.

4. The President and his Oval Office Address: So we're finally coming home after 9 long years bringing stability and order to the Iraqi people, after relieving them of a ruthless and bloodthirsty dictator who committed genocide against his own people with chemical weapons, kept torture chambers beneath his palace, and allowed his sons to run those chambers. I'd say, Mission Accomplished, but Mr. President, YOU didn't give us this victory. All you're doing is bringing the boys home after GWB did the dirty work for you, and after you OPPOSED the very tactics that brought us the victory you are now touting as your own. We see through it, Obi. We're not fooled, and you're a fool if you think we are.

Yes, the Muslims have gained a foothold in New York, as we all suspected might happen with the Bagel and Lox Jew Michael Bloomberg at the helm. Why do I call him a Bagel and Lox Jew, you ask? Well, simply put, because he insults and demeans his own faith by allowing this monstrosity to go ahead with little challenge. Check this video I found on The Right Site. It details three things most people don't know about the so-called Religion of Peace.

The Cracks are Showing

Apparently the cracks are showing in the Left's supposed death grip on American television. This ad was seen on, get this, COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMAN! Someone was DEFINITELY asleep at the switch. Apparently the commie censors that work there aren't earning their paychecks. Fine by me, though. Help this ad go viral! It's awesome!

Christianity: The Only Religion you can Hate With Impunity

I am and always have been a firm believer in religious principals. I am, like all other humans on the planet, fallible and a sinner, yet what separates me from certain human beings is that I believe that my transgressions are forgiven thanks to my devotion to the Savior, Jesus Christ, the son of God in Heaven. This does not mean that I consider myself better or superior to any other human on the planet. What it does mean, is that I have been given a chance at redemption through God’s Grace, and I will unshakably declare that to anyone who asks.

In the mind of some, this makes me a hateful bigot because of certain tenants within that faith, such as the Catholic church’s aversion to homosexuality, pedophilia, abortion, gay marriage, and a host of other hot button issues. Apparently it is narrow-minded and hateful to believe that these particular acts and practices are wrong, with feminists calling you against women’s rights if you oppose abortion, to the simple cry of RACIST or more appropriately BIGOT if you oppose, as I do, gay marriage and homosexuality. Now, of course, the practice of homosexuality will not go away, but that doesn’t mean I have to find it appropriate public behavior. Having standards in today’s world is among the highest crimes and misdemeanors of unwritten cultural law.

I bring this up because, yet again, the so-called “artistic” community has struck, using a piece of “art” erroneously entitled “Moral Values”, which consists of a painting of the Holy Bible (which version is not specified). Now, this would normally be a cause for the LEFT to be up in arms. I mean, after all, a Bible on public grounds is fast becoming a crime punishable by lynching, or worse, by Barbara Streisand. Cheap shots aside, the reason that the RIGHT is up in arms about this is because underneath the painting of the bible is painted the words “Warning: May impair judgment.” What, does this artist think herself some sort of anti-religious surgeon general, or something?

I make no apologies for the smart ass nature of those two remarks, by the way. Political correctness is no longer an effective filter for me, and shouldn’t be for anyone, really. But guess what would have happened if this had been a painting of the Quran? That’s right, boys and girls, the left would have been OUTRAGED at the very IDEA that someone would think that the tenants of Islam are somehow able to brainwash people into losing their sense of judgment. If only we could find out if that were true…oh, wait, it is. Those Maddrassas aren’t just for show, boys and girls.

The story comes from my local toilet rag, the Sacramento Bee, though admittedly it’s better than most newspapers out there. That’s right, I’m looking at you, New York Times. And saying that the Bee is better than the New York Times is like saying Al Sharpton is less racist than David Duke. And don’t go telling me Sharpton isn’t a racist either. You can have black skin and be racist. It’s true, I swear.

Now again, imagine if this had been a painting of the Quran with the same words. How much outrage do you think the left would have generated if that had been the case? A lot? That doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Still, this gives me cause for hope. A year ago a story like this wouldn’t have even been newsworthy, yet here it is in a widely read newspaper, admittedly only in one state, but it happens to be the most populous state in the country. Are we making a comeback to our old school principals? Signs like this tell me yes, we are, however, the indignant attitudes of the so-called “artist” who put this piece of trash up give me cause to believe also that much more work remains to be done before a reawakening of religious principals can occur. She is quoted as saying, in the article, “I came to the conclusion that there must be something about religious faith that renders people stupid.” Her exact words, I swear. Google the name Jeri Wyrick and you might find this very story online. I don’t know as I haven’t looked yet, but that’s beside the point.

The point is that in addition to this person being a moron, the justification for leaving it up is that only one person complained. Excuse me? Only one person complained so it’s okay to leave up a piece of anti-Christian art? How many times have Christmas displays had to undergo complete overhauls just because ONE person MIGHT have been offended off in some parallel universe somewhere? Huh? How many? DOZENS, that’s how many. At least.

Rant aside, this article was both informative and revealing. Revealing in the sense that it points out the stupidity of the leftist agenda to remove religion from the public square, and informative because it tells me that for Christianity to once again draw attention in the media beyond use of the phrase “religious right”, it must be creeping back into the forefront of our consciousness again. That would certainly be a welcome change. We have strayed far too long on the path away from God, and will only achieve greatness again when we deliver ourselves into His hands.

I know that last bit sounded preachy, but it’s still true. This I believe with all my might.

UPDATE: I just read in TODAY'S version of the Bee that that garbage has been sold. Someone bought the thing for 500 bucks. Paltry sum where art is concerned. Apparently someone who shares the artists views decided to buy it. This now becomes a non-issue in the eyes of the media.

I'll Take Religious Principals for 100, Alex

The Bible is being taught as historical literature in a California public School. It's finally begun. After years of repression of our religious history as a nation, it begins to creep ever so slowly back to the forefront, making tiny baby steps at first, but if those steps continue, it will likely snowball into a full blown repeal of every anti-religious hyper-secular law ever passed by any rogue activist judge in the country. That's my prediction, at least, and best case scenario at that. But anyway, this is a good start, I think, and I hope to see an upward swing in this trend. As someone who has had his faith shaken quite a bit recently, I know that it is more important than ever to hold onto that faith, lest everything else be lost.

This would merit little attention by me beyond the initial "wow that's cool" except for the fact that Texas has already introduced a similar initiative in an elective class that they've put on their curriculum just a year or two ago, I believe. That story can be found here.

On a less positive note regarding religion in the world today, there is this story, via Jihad Watch and The Other McCain.

The story basically says that some nutjob Imam or cleric or whatever these backward thugs call themselves, called on Australian Muslims to forsake their own country because the democratic process is forbidden, and that Allah is the sole lawmaker and all their other hate filled garbage that they spew on a daily basis. Well, let me ask you this, my burka wearing friends (term used VERY loosely), WHO DOES ALLAH EXPECT TO WRITE DOWN THOSE LAWS IF HUMANS CAN'T DO IT THEMSELVES?

Even the Christian God used humans to write laws after giving Moses the Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai. But apparently the Bearded One is too high and mighty to have us puny humans write our own damn laws. Last time I checked, Allah wasn't handing out tablets or parchment based documents to his prophets and telling the people how to live. If he'd not going to do it, how are they going to make ANY laws unless they write them themselves, hm? Answer me that.

Even worse, our Commissar in Chief has yet again insulted the Israelis and pandered to the burka-wearing nutballs by actually saying that he believes the Israeli's are suspicious of him because of his name. his NAME. Read the full account here.

Honestly...can the world get anymore interesting/screwed up?

The Paradox of the Muslim Faith

We all know that the Muslims are a very different culture from us. Anyone with half a brain in the furthest recesses of his skull can figure out that the Muslim world and the West are as different as night and day. I for one hardly gave them a thought until the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers, but now that they've been brought to the forefront of my attention, I can only say that they are indeed a culture of death. Hack Wilson has a story at his blog today that took my breath away, so horrifying was it to see with my own eyes. I could hardly believe I was reading the words of a mother speaking about her son when I saw the paragraphs that I will post further down.

For now, however, an explanation is in order. the story that I've linked to is one wherein a Muslim mother is praying night and day, at the expense of her own health at times (so much so, in fact, that the Israeli doctor tending her son had to personally insist that she eat and drink to stay healthy) that her son's life be spared from the sickness he's contracted. Yes, you read that right. The doctor tending to him is Israeli, and I didn't mention this previously, but the son is being treated, according to the story, in the city of Jerusalem. This is what the mother had to say when a documentary filmmaker intent on showing that not all Palestinians are murderous thugs was taping her for a scene in his film:

Nevertheless, this idyllic situation developed into a deep crisis that led to the severance of the relations and what appeared to be the end of the filming. From an innocent conversation about religious holidays, Raida Abu Mustafa launched into a painful monologue about the culture of the shahids - the martyrs - and admitted, during the complex transplant process, that she would like to see her son perpetrate a suicide bombing attack in Jerusalem.


"Jerusalem is ours," she declared. "We are all for Jerusalem, the whole nation, not just a million, all of us. Do you understand what that means - all of us?"


She also explained to Eldar exactly what she had in mind. "For us, death is a natural thing. We are not frightened of death. From the smallest infant, even smaller than Mohammed, to the oldest person, we will all sacrifice ourselves for the sake of Jerusalem. We feel we have the right to it. You're free to be angry, so be angry."


And Eldar was angry. "Then why are you fighting to save your son's life, if you say that death is a usual thing for your people?" he lashes out in one of the most dramatic moments in the film.


"It is a regular thing," she smiles at him. "Life is not precious. Life is precious, but not for us. For us, life is nothing, not worth a thing. That is why we have so many suicide bombers. They are not afraid of death. None of us, not even the children, are afraid of death. It is natural for us. After Mohammed gets well, I will certainly want him to be a shahid. If it's for Jerusalem, then there's no problem. For you it is hard, I know; with us, there are cries of rejoicing and happiness when someone falls as a shahid. For us a shahid is a tremendous thing."

This, to me, is absolutely appalling. How can someone at the same time revere and disregard human life? the mother clearly states that she wants her son to live, but then declares in the same breath that she'd rather become a shahid (martyr)?

The Muslim culture by and large, in my view, is a culture of death and destruction, and the above corroborates my hypothesis. I do not for the life of me understand how anyone thinks that these people, who value the lives of their own children less than they value their deaths, can be rationally spoken with or negotiated with. Our culture, the West, largely believes in life over death. Not the other way around. It brings to mind a very disturbing question.

Can two civilizations who are so fundamentally different ever truly be at peace?

Will the Real Louis Farrakhan Please SHUT UP!

The Fox News website has just posted a story in which Louis Farrakhan, racist America hater extraordinaire, claims that the "white right" is what is keeping Obama from passing his monsterous big government agenda, and apparently the proof is that healthcare has been brought to a screeching halt by, as he sees it, the obstructionist right wing Republicans, both in and out of Washington. Excuse me, but the Republicans are about as powerful right now as Bob Dole without his Viagra. Just which Republicans have been obstructionists in the health care debacle? Anyone? I didn't think so.

Louis Farrakhan needs to keep his big mouth shut. He's even worse than Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton when it comes to race baiting. We all know his history so I won't go into it here. What I will go into is the reason no one should ever listen to someone as blind as Farrakhan

Reason 1: He actually believes that Islam seeks to reform criminals in prison. If by reform he means turn into suicide bombing America hating fanatics, like the guy who shot the army recruiter down in Virginia, then I guess he's right on. Religion of Peace my ass.

Reason 2: He thinks he can tell the future because of some vision he had in the eighties. Look, I'm not going to discount that maybe he did have a vision in the eighties, but how do we know it wasn't enduced by mind altering drugs? Some of the things Farrakhan spouts, like the above, makes me wonder if he's ever OFF mind altering drugs or not. The jury's still out on that one, I think.

Reason 3: Apparently he is using President Obama's election as a rallying cry for him and all his Black Nationalist sheep. Just what does he expect to happen? Is everything going to randomly become a paradise for anti-Semetic dillholes now that Obama is president...? Well, maybe. Just look at what's happening over in Europe. Hack Wilson has an example.

Reason 4: Apparently Farrakhan isn't done hearing Obama yap and blather on about himself in his speeches: "You can't ease their plight, but you can use your bully pulpit. Speak for the poor. Speak for the weak." Does this moron not realize that Obama has used that bully pulpit more times in one year than his predecessor used in 8? Apparently not.

There are many more reasons not to listen to Farrakhan, but I have better things to do than list them.

Here's to hoping he fades into the background soon...
